Happy Fall y'all
I can't believe that tomorrow if the first official day of fall. I'm still trying to figure out just were summer went never mind the rest of the year. It's just 92 days until Christmas...... Oh well on today's share this past Sunday my Cricut Club met and this is the project they made...
The tile is 12x12 and they cut the vinyl to adhere to it the leaves are stamped with Stazon ink in Jet black and the pumpkin was circles cut from the George cartridge and then altered with a punch and an embossing folder. I think this turned out great and all the ladies where able to finish the project well before the 6pm ending time.
I have another item to share and that is that Stampin Up is joined the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to help stamp out breast cancer. This is near and dear to my heart as my mom fought this nasty disease twice. She beat it the first time but lost her second battle 10 years ago this coming November 21st. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss her and wish that she was still here but God had other plans and I know that she's in Heaven with him and she isn't hurting anymore. Stampin UP will donate $2 for each new subscriber and $1 for each continuing subscriber. The October box will be a pretty pink too. It's a breeze to sign up just click the button on the right of my blog or go to paperpumpkin.com and when it asks for a demonstrator please chose me. Thanks in advance....
I hope you have enjoyed your time here at my little corner of the web. Leave me a comment so I know that you've been by.

Convention 2015...
Hi there Family, Friends & Followers,
Stampin Up Convention 2015 is now in the history books but it was a great time!!! I've learned so many really cool techniques and got to meet some awesome new friends and loads of Stampin Up demonstrators. It was a very busy 3 days starting with a team meeting so that we could all get to say hi and share "a swap" (a hand created card or 3D item) with each other.
I am proud member of Connie Stewart's Stampin Up team so I'm sharing a couple of pictures of the team members who made it to Salt Lake City for the convention. Four of us have been friends for a while but Marge and Emily are 2 new friends who are super sweet & very creative. Marge lives in California and Emily lives in Oklahoma so now I have friends there too.
One of the highlights of the convention was Awards night and Connie Stewart won in several categories some of that is due to her team members
Before we all went our separate ways there was time for one more team picture.
Now before I go I want to share with you what I made as my team swap. It's a 3D curvy box flower pot. I made it using the curvy box die, cardstock, ribbon, ink the flower patch Stampin Up stamp set and a jumbo paper clip. I think it turned out very nice and it was filled with chocolate & caramel candy. I even made one to enter into the design contest at the convention and I hope to hear some time in August that I was chosen as a winner of a $200 shopping spree at Stampin Up!!!
Right now Stampin Up is having a 50% of their Paper Pumpkin monthly kits for first time subscribers so if you are looking for a fun way to spend 30 minutes once a month check it out. You can find all the details at my online Stampin Up store at www.skybowcreations.stampinup.net.
Well as I have several thank you cards & notes to get done so I think that's it for today. I hope you have enjoyed your time in my little corner of the web. Take care and Stamp on....

Been awhile....
Hi there blogger family & followers; so sorry I haven't posted in a long while but I've been busy camping and getting things made for a Stampin Up workshop & the Stampin Up Convention... so excited. It's time for the last Annual Stampin Up convention for North America as they have decided to change the conventions to Global events. This means that instead of 3-4 days long for most of the demonstrators it'll be just one day every 6 months with only once every 18 months occuring in North America. So this is it and I hear it's going to be great!!!! Did I mention that I am so super excited to be able to attend??? I need to send my darling sweet husband a major thank you for funding this trip as I have not been a SU demonstrator long enough to build up enough customers to be making enough money to be able to afford to go without his generous support.
Before I go I have a few cards I wish to share with you all before I go so here you go....
I hope that they inspire you to get some cards made. If you need any Stampin Up products I'd love for your to place your order at www.skybowcreations.stampinup.net. It's an online store that's open 24/7 you can order right from your home and it ships right to your door.
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the web....leave me a comment so I know you where here.

Remodel is now complete...
Hi All!
So the blog remodel is now completed. I think it looks GREAT!!!! I choose the name "Skybow Art" for my company about 23 years ago. I was trying to come up with a name of my business that would let others know that I have always felt that God has blessed me with the creativity I have and I wanted to include God in everything I create as a way to say Thank you for all of the blessings He's given me. I have always loved rainbows and one day while reading from the King James bible version of Genesis 9:16, I got to the part when God told Noah that he put his bow in the sky as a sign that the whole earth would would never be flooded again. It was a covenant between God and Noah that still exists today and that stood out, it was then that I choose to use "Skybow" as my company name. About 16 years ago I tweaked the name to "Skybow Creations" when I began to work with paper and turn it into 3D items. My blog now matches the other parts of my company and my vision for it. I am so please with it all right down to my signature . A big shout of THANKS to Lacey Ellis for working on this with me. She is amazing and she gave it a fresh new look that will be treasured.
As I mentioned a few times this year I am a Stampin' Up demonstrator now and as of tomorrow the 2015-2016 catalog goes live and it is filled with tons of new goodies all of which I want. So if you don't have a demonstrator I'd love to have you choose me for that honor. You can shop online just push the order now button to the right and it will take you right to my Stampin' Up online store. As always there are the weekly deals available too.... If your tight on space then Stampin' Up can help there too with their monthly Paper Pumpkin kits where you get just enough supplies to complete the kit and the only thing left over is an ink spot pad and the clear stamps that came in the kit both of which fit in the palm of my hand which means they don't take up a lot of space. Right now Stampin' Up is running a 50% off sale for the first 2 months to all new Paper Pumpkin subscribers so it a great time to give it a try.
Today I want to share another one of my recent creations.
It was a gift for a dear friend who has recently moved into a new home after her old one burned down. Suzanne and I attended LPN classes together many many years ago and her friendship has always been a blessing. I created this using only the sheltering trees Stampin Up stamp set. Yes the entire creation only took one stamp set. Remember Stampin' Up stamps aren't just for stamping.....
I hope you have enjoyed your time here today in my little corner of the web, leave me a comment so I know you stopped by. Take Care.....

Under construction.....pardon our dust!!!
Hi there followers, family & friends,
Just wanted to let you know that my blog is undergoing a remodel of sorts. I decided that when I recently purchased my domain name of Skybow Creations that my blog was looking tired and sad so... I spoke with a friend at church and she told me about a talented young lady in our church who specializes in web design so after getting everything going at Stampin' Up I contacted this gal and as you can see the work has begun. I look forward to seeing the final results in the upcoming weeks. Until then you can still get all your stamping & crafting supplies at my Stampin' Up online store by clicking this link www.skybowcreations.stampinup.net or by using it in your search box on the internet and it will take you right to my store and all your goodies will arrive right to your door. I would love to be your Stampin' Up demonstrator. Also Stampin' Up is running a great sale on their Paper Pumpkin kit subscriptions...... All NEW subscribes when you join if you use SAVE50 in the promotion box when checking out you'll get your first 2 months of Paper Pumpkin at 50% off. Don't wait to long this offer ends June 10th 2015.
To join Paper Pumpkin just go to paperpumpkin.com Remember when you check out select me as your demonstrator.
Well I hope you all like the new look and have enjoyed your time in my little corner of the web.
Leave me a comment so I know you came by.

Going, Going, Gone....
It's that time of year when we must say goodbye to some of the goodies in the 2014-2015 Stampin Up Catalog. As a new demonstrator this is a bit bittersweet for me as I love the current catalog and especially the In Colors for 2013-2015, but I am also super excited to get to see all the new items that will be in the 2015-2016 catalog..... Anyhow I hope you will choose to go to my Stampin UP online store, there is an order now button located on the right side of my blog, just click that button and it will take you right to my online store and under promotions you can see all the goodies that are going. Some of those items are discounted at up to 50% off so now is a great time to pick up some of the items you might have been hesitant to purchase in the past. There is also a clearance area once you are in my online store and Stampin UP has just added new goodies there too and some of those items are up 80% off!!!!!! Of course Stampin Up is still having their Weekly deals so I've also listed those items below.
I hope you all have a very blessed and beautiful week. Thanks for stopping by my corner of the web.

Quick update........
Stampin Up's Butterfly bundle is finally available again!!!!! That means if you have been waiting you can now get your own set. I got my order in today. As popular as this cute bundle is I wouldn't wait because it might sell out again and it's been about a 2 month wait for this supply of butterfly thinlets to arrive at the Stampin Up warehouse. You can get the thinlets in a bundle with classic wood mount stamps, or with clear mount stamps or with photopolymer stamps. The bundle saves your 15% and until April 30th you can get a free item when you buy the bundle, Stampin Up's way of saying thanks for being so patient. Because I can't wait to get my bundle of these pretty and delicate goodies I thought I'd share a picture of them with all of my followers. If you decide you want your own butterfly bundle just click the order button on the right side of my blog, place your order and it comes right to your door no waiting for me to deliver it to you plus you can place your orders 24/7 right from the comfort of your home I can't think of any better way to shop.........
