Make a Medallion and lots of bling....

Hi All,
Today as promised I am sharing with you cards that I made using 2 of the 3 new Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration released products that you can earn with a $50 before shipping and tax order now until March 31st. I did the same stamping to all three of my cards and then I just changed how the card opens. The Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry is easel style the Mint Macaron and Smokey Slate is tent style and the Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo is wallet style. You maybe asking yourself why did I choose the colors I did???  Well the answer is simple the new Glimmer paper comes in 3 colors can you guess what they are the scalloped circles are in the new colors. The new colors are Sweet Sugarplum, Mint Macaron and Bermuda Bay.  I made the scalloped circles and stamped circles using the Big Shot and the layering circle framelits circle dies all by Stampin' Up! One of the things I like best about Stampin' Up! is that they coordinate everything they sell to match. So if there are several items in say Sweet Sugarplum they will all match exactly so there's not guess work when pairing ink to glimmer paper to cardstock to washi tape Stampin' Up! has already done all the work for me. Yay!!!  There is one other item that is available for the second release it's a stamp set that I mentioned in my last blog post called reverse words and I can't wait until I get that one in my hot little hands. I've added a picture below right from Stampin' Up! so that you can get a look at it and get a couple more ideas about how to use the other 2 products that I used today.  I've also listed below all the supplies I used for these 3 cards today at the end of this post so make sure you check that out. If you decide you'd like to place an order just click on one of those boxes and it'll take you right to my online webstore that is open 24/7.

I think all three samples shown here are amazing and I like how they used some of the products featured from the Occasions catalog too. You can see all the wonderful products available in that new catalog and the Sale-A-Bration product just by cling on the catalog icons on the upper right of this post. I'd love to earn your business so if you have any questions or want a set of catalogs for your very own just leave me a comment and I will get back with you quickly.

Well that's it for today. Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the web. Take care & until next time Happy Stampin'

72 cards & New Sale-A-Bration releases.....

Hi All
I'm back today with a short update to share with you this super quick  all Occasions card set. I made all four cards using Stampin' Up's Lift me Up stamp set which I paired with their exclusive Sale-A-Bration Carried Away Designer Series Paper that is only available with a $50 before shipping and tax order until March 31st.  I choose to attach the paper to Mint Macaroon, Smokey Slate. Watermelon Wonder & Peekaboo Peach cardstock. I used Night of Navy ink to stamp the sentiments from the stamp set. I finished the cards with a piece of either Whisper White or Night of Navy baker's twine.  These cards are so easy and very affordable. You just need a Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad, coordinating cardstock, Whisper White cardstock , medium Whisper White envelopes and the two different twines. As I mentioned above with any $50 order you'd qualify to choose the FREE designer series paper. If you chose to order those items I listed and picked this package of paper you could make 72 cards. If you notice in the picture below, this stamp set even has a birthday greeting making it a great all around stamp set to own.   Even if you had to add adhesive to your order it would work out to about $1.20 per card including shipping and tax on your order. I just checked the birthday cards my son received from others that where store bought and you just can't beat that price. The basic store bought card runs about $3.00 and there's nothing special about those cards.  The items I used for these cards are listed below so that you can just click on the picture and go right to my online Stampin' Up! webstore.
I also have some great news. As the title of this blog post mentioned Stampin Up has 3 new Sale-A-Bration releases starting 2/21/17. I have listed them below. I will have some cards from 2 of these new products later this week, that is just one of the perks of being a Stampin' Up demonstrator you get to see all the new products early and even get to order them first.... I know there are 4 items listed but one is the same just in wood and clear stamp versions.
Well that's all for today. Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the web. I'd love to earn your business so if you have any questions or need help please just leave me a comment and I'll get back to you as quickly as possible. Take care & until next time Happy Stampin'!!!

High Tide & more Birthdays.....

Hi All,
I'm so happy you stopped by today. I know it's been awhile since I last posted but my ASUS computer got a virus & it's pretty much dead....sigh. Because of that I had to wait until my darling husband (who is my in house IT guy) had time to move my files to my new computer, (his old one)... He is still trying to transfer data from the other computer to my google drive so I can access it on my new computer. I'm very blessed to have him around to do this for me.  Anyhoo...remember a couple of weeks ago when I last posted an update here I mentioned that February was a month filled with birthdays well I have been busy making more birthday cards. The first card I'm sharing today is the card I made for my youngest son's birthday. I used the new Stampin' Up! High Tide stamp set.  I couldn't wait to play with this awesome stamp set. The masking technique I C.A.S.E.'d (copy and share everything) from Tina a fellow demonstrator. Her card was done in  real red but my son's favorite color is blue so I used dapper denim and switched some things around to make it my own. I love how it turned out. I used gold embossing for the Happy Birthday and the dot in the center of the lighthouse window is a rhinestone so that when you move the card it sparkles and almost looks like a real light plus everything is better with a little sparkle. I also clear embossed the sand under the lighthouse to give it texture. He was very impressed with the card & still has it on display in the front room of our home. That was exactly what I was hoping for when I made the card. To finish the inside and envelope I stamped the standing birds stamp that is included in this stamp set. The sentiment came for the Stampin' Up! Guy Greetings stamp set I think it is very masculine and that is just what I was looking for on this card.

This card as it says is for a friend who likes pink. I used the Awesomely Artistic stamp set. It's an oldie but a goody Stampin' Up! stamp set. I paired it with basic gray and sweet sugarplum ink on very vanilla cardstock with a touch of playful palette designer series paper. Then for the coloring of the flowers I used so saffron, emerald envy and sweet sugarplum ink with just a tiny bit of water. I used the emerald envy and sweet sugarplum inks stamped off to stamp the dots from the stamp set. I cut one of the new double sided doilies in half. With the very vanilla side up I just tucked it under the edge of the paper to form a wrap for the flowers to be coming out of. I stamped the dragonfly in sweet sugarplum and even though you can't tell from this picture I put Wink of Stella on it's wings to add some bling.  A touch of ruched ribbon in sweet sugarplum and a sentiment popped up on a couple of dimensionals and Viola!!! you have a  sweet feminine birthday card for a friend.  I think this turned out way cute especially as the "collage" style is not usually my cup of tea.

You'll find a "Products list" below should you wish to re-create either of these birthday cards all you have to do is click on the item pictured below and it will take you right to my online Stampin' Up webstore. Remember right now is Sale-A-Bration time at Stampin' Up! and that means that for every $50 you spend before shipping and tax you get to chose a FREE exclusive Sale-A-Bration item. There are stamps sets, designer series paper and a metallic ribbon duo to choose from. This sale only lasts until March 31st 2017 and as we approach that date some of the more popular items maybe out of stock so don't delay get your order in today!!!

Well that's it for today. Thank you for stopping by and spending time with me.  I hope you have had fun and found some inspiration too. Until next time, take care and Happy Stampin'!
