Skybow Creations: Birthday Month.....

February is Birthday month at my home. Both of my son's were born in February as well as one of my good friends and her daughter have birthdays. Plus for February classes I will be doing 2 private Birthday Card classes. The card to the left is the card I made for my good friend. She loves all things Mickey & Minnie she is even spending time this month at Disneyland so I thought what better way to celebrate her special day than to make her a Minnie Mouse card??? For this card I used the Swirly Scribbles Thinlit dies for the head and ears of Minnie as well as the Cutie Pie Thinlit dies for the bow. I used Pop of Pink Designer Series paper which I adhered to Thick Whisper White card base. I then stamped the sentimentment from Cool Treats stamp set in versa mark ink added white embossing powder which I then heated with the Heat Tool to basic black cardstock. Using the Triple banner punch to cut the banner tail applied the mouse head and ears with the Fine Tip glue the bow attached with Glue dots and then I popped the sentiment banner up in Dimensionals to finish the card. I think it came out super cute and I know that my friend is going to love the card.
