So the blog remodel is now completed. I think it looks GREAT!!!! I choose the name "Skybow Art" for my company about 23 years ago. I was trying to come up with a name of my business that would let others know that I have always felt that God has blessed me with the creativity I have and I wanted to include God in everything I create as a way to say Thank you for all of the blessings He's given me. I have always loved rainbows and one day while reading from the King James bible version of Genesis 9:16, I got to the part when God told Noah that he put his bow in the sky as a sign that the whole earth would would never be flooded again. It was a covenant between God and Noah that still exists today and that stood out, it was then that I choose to use "Skybow" as my company name. About 16 years ago I tweaked the name to "Skybow Creations" when I began to work with paper and turn it into 3D items. My blog now matches the other parts of my company and my vision for it. I am so please with it all right down to my signature . A big shout of THANKS to Lacey Ellis for working on this with me. She is amazing and she gave it a fresh new look that will be treasured.
As I mentioned a few times this year I am a Stampin' Up demonstrator now and as of tomorrow the 2015-2016 catalog goes live and it is filled with tons of new goodies all of which I want. So if you don't have a demonstrator I'd love to have you choose me for that honor. You can shop online just push the order now button to the right and it will take you right to my Stampin' Up online store. As always there are the weekly deals available too.... If your tight on space then Stampin' Up can help there too with their monthly Paper Pumpkin kits where you get just enough supplies to complete the kit and the only thing left over is an ink spot pad and the clear stamps that came in the kit both of which fit in the palm of my hand which means they don't take up a lot of space. Right now Stampin' Up is running a 50% off sale for the first 2 months to all new Paper Pumpkin subscribers so it a great time to give it a try.
Today I want to share another one of my recent creations.
It was a gift for a dear friend who has recently moved into a new home after her old one burned down. Suzanne and I attended LPN classes together many many years ago and her friendship has always been a blessing. I created this using only the sheltering trees Stampin Up stamp set. Yes the entire creation only took one stamp set. Remember Stampin' Up stamps aren't just for stamping.....
I hope you have enjoyed your time here today in my little corner of the web, leave me a comment so I know you stopped by. Take Care.....
