Skybow Creations: Family first and then News, News, News.....

Hi All,

First of all I want to say that I am sorry that it's been awhile since I last posted an update. I had my lovely 13 year old granddaughter and youngest son visiting. It's been 3 years since I last saw my granddaughter in person and since May since I've seen my son. Hopefully you will understand my absence. (They are pictured above). My granddaughter's dad is my oldest son and he is serving his country in the USAF. I am very proud of his service as he is a 3rd generation serviceman.He is currently stationed at Langley AFB in Virginia about 2 hours south of Washington DC/. So, as I live in Idaho it's been a bit hard to get together these last few years. I had just over 4 weeks to visit with her & we had a time, but I will miss her sweet face. As for my youngest son he is still waiting to hear if he passed the Nebraska Bar Exam. He graduated Creighton Law School this past May and had to wait until July 26th & 27th to take the exam. He will not hear the results until September 15th at the earliest.... talk about a cliff hanger.

Anyway on to the NEWS, NEWS, NEWS... I have loads to share....

First I have posted my 1st You Tube video but it won't embed here, (I still have some learning to do with these videos), but you can view it by going to You Tube and in the search bar put in my name or Hedgehog Thank You and it should pop up. I'd really love to know what you think about the video.

Second I can hardly believe that August is almost over and that September is just 1 day away. I am so excited that I can hardly contain myself because on September 1st the new 2016 Stampin' Up Holiday catalog goes live to all customers. YEAH!!! As a demonstrator I've been able to pre-order since the 2nd of August and have been working on some super cute projects and a 3D card for a swap that I will share once I get my swaps back which should be by end of the first week of September, stay tuned for that. As you can see in the picture it's 4 Birthday cards. I made these cards using only 1 stamp set, the Build a Birthday Stamp set. The candle cards are simple one layer cards with just a touch of bling. The cake cards are little more detailed one layer cards with a touch more bling. September's Online Class hostess code is N9QGGVYM. September's packet will include the papers, envelopes, die cuts and embellishments need to complete the 4 cards as well as a set of written instructions for all the cards. The packet will not include adhesives, big shot dies or machine, punches, scissors, stamps or ink pads.
