Blessed, Thankful & a Happy New Year...

Hi All
This update is just  a way for me to say thank you to all for you for your prayers and help.  Our home in Idaho Falls closed escrow Thursday afternoon. This is a major YEAH!!!  It means that with the exception of some very dear friends we no longer have any ties to Idaho. This is a major relief but bittersweet at the same time.  You see I'd lived in that home for 22 years. Which is probably no biggie to some of you but as a military brat & then as a corporate man's wife I've moved a lot in my life and this was the longest I'd ever lived in one place in my entire life.  Anyhow while I am over the moon that it sold and has closed without any major issues, I am sad that we are so very far away from some very dear sweet friends. Having said that I must share that while this year has been extremely stressful & sad for us with all of the changes in our lives, this year has been in God's control and plans and as usual He has blessed us all way way beyond our hopes and dreams!!!.  Thanks for all your prayers they meant a lot to me and my family.  We feel totally blessed as we are now living in a rental home in a suburb of Phoenix AZ called Buckeye and it is very nice but we hope to be buying a new home or a new to us home within the next 6 months or so. We had a wonderful Christmas with my brother, his lovely wife and their son as well as many extended family members which was great as it had been over 25 years since we last lived near any family. We have also found a lovely Calvary Chapel church in the area as well as a doctor & the all important person, at least important for me, a hair stylist.

Now as you probably stopped by to see what craftiness I've been up to lately I'm sharing my Christmas thank you cards today. I love to watercolor so this watercolor wash technique is great and super easy. I got my inspiration from a card I saw on Pintrest by Rachel Tessman. Of course I changed it so it would be my design but it nice to have an idea to help you get started.  Below you will find a  list of most of the products I used to make this card.  I did use a couple of retired items, the metal embellishment and the green stripped ribbon so those are no longer available, but there are others that you can see in the Annual and Holiday catalogs which would give you pretty much the same effect. That Holiday catalog will only be available through the 3rd of January.   Stampin' UP! year-end closeout sale continues through today so check that out there are some items available at up to 60% off. Just click the Pink Stampin' UP! button under the Shop Now title on the right for all the sale details. The current items I used on my card all came from the Annual Catalog.  You can shop for those items by clicking on the picture below.  If your order is less than $150 please use my December Host Code KJURDFK3 and please DO NOT chose no contact when you check out, as I then do not receive any information from Stampin' UP! so I won't be able to send you a thank you card, a new catalog or contact you in anyway & that would make me very sad.  I would like to earn your business so please let me know if you have any questions or need help.

Well that's it for today. Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the web.  I wish you all the Happiest of New Years. Until next time...Happy Stamping!!!!
